Directions

Hilton Head Island is 100 miles south of Charleston, South Carolina, 45 miles north of Savannah, Georgia, and 35 miles south of Beaufort, South Carolina.

From the North

Take Interstate 95 South to South Carolina.
Take Exit 8 onto Highway 278 East and follow 16 miles to Hilton Head Island.
After crossing the bridges onto Hilton Head the road will split, bear right onto Business Highway 278.
After the split, continue 3.5 miles to Port Royal Plantation.
Turn left at the light into the Port Royal Plantation entrance
Follow the signs to the resort. 

From the South

Take Interstate 95 North to South Carolina.
Take Exit 8 onto Highway 278 East and follow 16 miles to Hilton Head Island.
After crossing the bridges onto Hilton Head the road will split, bear right onto Business Highway 278.
After the split, continue 3.5 miles to Port Royal Plantation.
Turn left at the light into the Port Royal Plantation entrance
Follow the signs to the resort. 

From Hilton Head Island Airport - Approximately 10 minutes

Turn left out of the terminal onto Beach City Road.
At the traffic circle, take 2nd exit onto Mathews Drive.
Turn left onto Highway 278 (William Hilton Parkway) and then turn left into Port Royal Plantation.
Follow the signs to the resort.

From Savannah Hilton Head International Airport - Approximately 45 minutes

Take Airways Avenue and follow the signs to Interstate 95 North.
Take Interstate 95 North to Exit 8 and turn onto Highway 278 East. 
Proceed on Highway 278 East to Hilton Head Island.
Continue on Highway 278 East and bear right onto Business Highway 278.
Continue 3.5 miles to Port Royal Plantation.
Turn left at the light into the Port Royal Plantation entrance
Follow the signs to the resort.

By Boat

Located on the Intra-Coastal Waterway, Hilton Head Island has a number of marinas (and restaurants, too) that offer daily slip and dock space.
